Textures brings Peter Spacey’s sound world into a visual exhibition created with The Experiential Co. The collaboration explores the relationship between frequencies and forms through digital works that combine listening and looking. Music and image become two ways into the same artistic idea.

The project has taken physical, virtual and augmented-reality forms. Spacey’s exhibition archive lists the Tel Aviv Museum of Art and Soho House among its presentations, alongside locations in Rome, London and Shibuya, Tokyo. Images from the project document the works in exhibition settings, including the presentation at Soho House.

Textures sits alongside Spacey’s live performances and recorded music as another expression of his audiovisual practice. The focus shifts from a stage or a track to an encounter with an artwork.
